His music is best described as “playful,” “intellectual,” and “hella gay!” As a lyricist, he consistently includes queer themes in his music. Evan’s inaugural EP ‘Gay Pirates’ captures the exaltations and lamentations of queer love. Westfal has sung backing vocals for Josh Groban, and played many festivals including Canada Pride and Calgary Pride.
