My name is Evan Panagopoulos. I am an urban storyteller, an avid fan of brutalist and mid-century architecture, and a knowledgeable WW2 and Victorian era enthusiast. I enjoy engaging with abandoned spaces and obscure history. The White Ship is a short story published by H.P. Lovecraft in 1927. It is perhaps my favourite story among his substantial body of fantastical work : not directly associated with the Cthulu mythology, the White ship becomes a parallel lore of its own, unique and mystical. It is an allegory for humanity's unquenchable curiosity, unbridled pride, and chasing impossible dreams. .
