Shelby Dixon is a native of South Carolina, and graduated from the University of South Carolina. Her world of cheer and dance began at the age of 11. While attending Carolina, Shelby was part of USC's Hip Hop Dance Ensemble. Wanting to further her dance career, and dreams of going Pro, she went out for Charlotte's NFL team, the Carolina Panthers TopCats. With little to no experience of the professional leagues dance world, she went in with everything and made the team in 2008.
