This podcast, Hear a Text, is dedicated to voicing examination texts. Each season in the podcast will be committed to an examination text which will be read chapter by chapter and each chapter will be labelled under a different episode. This podcast aims to encourage candidates to read the prescribed examination texts by voicing the texts. If there is any examination text you’ll like to hear on Hear a Text, you can send an email to hear.a.text@gmail.com with the title of the text and the examination for which it has been prescribed.

Edgar nurses Catherine for the next two months. During this time, it is revealed that Catherine is pregnant. Edgar longs for a male heir, to prevent Heathcliff and Isabella from inheriting the Grange. Six weeks after she runs away, Isabella sends a letter to Edgar, announcing her marriage and begging forgiveness. He does not reply. After that, a distraught Isabella sends a letter to Nelly, questioning the humanity of Heathcliff. She tells Nelly that they are living at Wuthering Heights and begs for a visit.
