Stories from the Bible

Jennifer Mary

Is there a God? Is it possible to know him? Does he care about me? We might think it’s impossible to know the answers. And yep, we'd be right if we humans were left on our own to work it out. But we haven't been. God has shown us what he is like, and he's told us how we can know him. He's done this by interacting directly with people over thousands of years, and giving us a record, called the Bible. This podcast aims to chronologically tell the stories of some of those interactions. https://www.storiesfromthebible.com/ Sc...

In this episode we reflect on the previous stories from Luke 22 - how Jesus is not the passive victim of his enemies, but more like the calm architect who sees the whole plan. We notice how his compassionate love for his disciples shines brighter and brighter as their actions become darker and darker. Then we listen to Luke 23, the heavy story of the crucifixion.
