Three years ago on a nice summer day in July 2022, I asked photographer friend Riley Taylor to take some photos of me, and after the photoshoot we sat at a picnic table for a chat! Riley and I met taking photos at concerts in Toronto sometime in 2009, and we talked about what that was like and how things have changed since then. We also talked about technical challenges and the artistic process. Some form of art-making could be such a solitary process, but it doesn't have to be. This conversation reminds me that there is truly no one way...
