Alvaro D. Marquez is a Los Angeles based Latinx visual artist, educator, and researcher. They are descended from three generations of migrant farm workers. Alvaro has a Bachelor’s degree in Modern American History from Brown University, a Master in American Studies, and Ethnicity from USC, and a Masters in Fine Art from California State University, Long Beach. Their work has been shown in galleries and museums throughout the United States, Mexico, and Germany.
